Add Google reviews to Base44

Home › Guides › Base44

Base44 lets you edit your app code directly or ask the AI to do it. Either way, the RepU script goes into index.html, just before the closing body tag. Editing code yourself needs a paid plan.

  • 1

    Copy your code

In RepU, open your widget, choose light or dark and left or right, then click Copy next to the embed snippet. You will paste it into the chat in the next step.

  • 2

    Add it to index.html

In Base44, open the Code tab and select index.html. Paste your code just before the closing </body> tag and save. Prefer to use the chat? Ask it:
Add this script to index.html, just before the closing </body> tag, so it loads on every page. Do not change anything else.

    Publish your app

Click Publish, then open your live app to see your Google reviews.

Not showing?

Check your live site in a private window, not the editor or preview. A domain-locked widget only shows on your own domain.

Ask the AI where it added the script. It should sit in index.html just before the closing body tag, with your data-repu code intact.
